Crafting Love with Most Adorned

Crafting Love with Most Adorned

Hello, crafty friends!

Welcome back to another delightful “Easy Peasy Saturday”! This week, we dive into the heart of creativity with the gorgeous Most Adorned Designer Series Paper (DSP), creating a card that not only is easy and peasy but also full of love and warmth. Perfect for any occasion that calls for a little extra heart, this project features the touching “You Are Loved” sentiment, complemented by a trio of charming prints from our featured DSP.

The Inspiration

With February’s chill calling for warmth from the heart, what better way to spread love than by crafting a handcrafted card? The Most Adorned DSP brings enchanting arrays of prints – pink hearts, red and pink plaid, and the tiniest white hearts on a red background – together in a card that will surely make your loved one feel cherished. And to add that sparkle of affection, let’s sprinkle the project with three red gems that say “You Are Loved” in every shimmer.

Card Creation Guide

Let’s embrace the spirit of Easy Peasy Saturday with a step-by-step guide to creating this heartwarming card. Here are the measurements to get you started:

  • Basic White Cardstock: 11″ x 4-1/4″, score at 5-1/2″ to form the card base.
  • Most Adorned DSP: Three strips each measuring 5-1/2″ x 2″. Use one strip of pink hearts, one strip of red and pink plaid, and one strip showcasing the adorable small white hearts on a red background.
  • Basic White Scrap: Measure out a piece at 5-1/2″ x 4-1/4″ for die-cutting and stamping the “You Are Loved” sentiment. Then, elevate it with dimensional adhesive in the card’s center for a lovely raised effect.

Assembly Instructions

  1. Prepare the Base: Take the Basic White cardstock, fold it along the score line to create your card base.
  2. Layering the DSP: Stick the three strips of Most Adorned DSP onto the front of the card. Arrange them side by side, mixing the patterns to create a visually appealing layout.
  3. Sentiment and Embellishments: After die-cutting and stamping the “You Are Loved” sentiment on the Basic White scrap, mount it on dimensional adhesive for prominence in the card’s center. Surround the sentiment with three red gems for an added touch of sparkle and love.
  4. Inside the Card: Accent the card’s inside with the Most Adorned DSP, showcasing white small hearts on a red background for a cohesive look. This surprise adds charm and warmth to your card.

Final Thoughts

This Easy Peasy Saturday project is more than just a card; it’s a heartfelt message wrapped in the beautiful simplicity of crafting. With a few cuts and adhesive applications, you create something that carries warmth and love in every layer.

I hope creating this beautiful piece brings you as much joy as your loved ones will cherish receiving it. Remember, it’s the thought and care we put into our crafts that truly make them special.

Happy crafting, and see you next Easy Peasy Saturday!
